Welcome
to Kentucky Arabian Horse
Association’s web site. You
probably know us better as “KAHA”.
The Kentucky Arabian Horse
Association was the first
Arabian club to be established
in the State of Kentucky. In
1976 a group of dedicated
Arabian enthusiasts came
together to establish a club
that was solely for the
education, promotion, and
advancement of the Arabian
Horse.
KAHA
objectives are simple; we hope
to encourage and promote the use
of the Arabian horse as a
versatile pleasure and show
horse. We wish to establish a
dialogue and arena for
exchanging ideas and information
that will promote knowledge of
and care of the Arabian horse.
We encourage working
cooperatively with National,
Regional, and local Arabian
clubs for the advancement of the
Arabian breed, not only in
Kentucky, but throughout the
United States as well. |

Each year in early spring,
KAHA holds the Bluegrass Arabian
Horse Shows. The Bluegrass
Shows consist of two
large,
nationally known “class A’ horse
shows, the Bluegrass
Classic and the Bluegrass
Festival. These two shows
are held at the Kentucky Horse
Park in Lexington, KY. These
shows offer a “kick-off” to show
season for exhibitors from many
states and countries surrounding
Kentucky.
